Candle Care Tips
Mood matters! Light your candle with intention. Whether it’s to calm down, focus, or spark joy, your candle works best when paired with your personal vibe!
- Always trim your wick to about 5mm (¼ inch) before lighting.
- This helps prevent smoking, ensures an even burn, and keeps your candle looking clean.
- For the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the container.
- This prevents tunneling and helps your candle last longer.
- Never burn your candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time.
- Let it cool and reset before lighting it again.
- Place candles on a flat, heat-resistant surface and away from fans, open windows, or air conditioners.
- Drafts can cause uneven burning or flickering.
- Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax and lift it out to avoid smoke.
- Blowing out your candle can cause soot or splatter.
- Stop burning your candle when about 10mm of wax remains.
- This protects your container and surfaces from heat damage.
- Keep candles away from direct sunlight or heat when not in use.
- This prevents discoloration and helps preserve the scent.
- After use, clean out the remaining wax and reuse the jar for storage, plants, decor or pen holder.
- It’s a small step toward a more sustainable routine.
